Quality AssuranceWe aim to supply a consistently high level of quality and never supply a product out of specification. To achieve this, our senior Technical and Production managers undertake a weekly Quality Review to verify the flour performance for every grade of flour produced at all sites. As part of this review, we interrogate our Delivery Performance from each site and ensure any Customer Complaints have been investigated and resolved satisfactorily.

As well as meeting the customer's flour specification, we feel it is important to test bake the flour and ensure that the functional performance is satisfactory. A programme of test baking is carried out every day in our Technical Centre.

We have an onsite Laboratory at each site where all products are tested against specification, using the latest NIR scanner technology. Test results are collected in our integrated Laboratory Management System and all deliveries can be accompanied by a certificate of analysis if required. We produce a selection of bespoke trend data and graphs for customers on a regular and ad-hoc basis.

External Testing

We regularly use a number of 3rd Party Laboratories to undertake independent testing where this is required by customers including mycotoxins, micro-biological, pesticide, chemical residues and trace elements. Charges are agreed on an individual basis.
